Cleaning” or “Steam Cleaning”. Although most major carpet manufacturers
recommend “Steam Cleaning” (also known as hot water extraction) for their
products, there are still companies that feature a dry carpet cleaning process.
These companies tout the short drying time associated with dry cleaning as the key benefit of their process compared
to conventional steam cleaning.
